iWEEK Training 2021
Sun 4 July 2021 19:30 until Sat 10 July 2021 13:00
Do you want to reconnect to others, yourself and the living world around you? Explore what this connection can do for sustainability? Enjoy being outside together with a group of great people? And get some extra credits for your study?
During the iWEEK we will do all of this. The iWEEK is a summer school organised by OtherWise that takes place from 4-10 July in Wageningen. In one week, a group of 15 people will be immersed in nature and community based practices. During this week, we explore, we play, we camp at ecovillage Ppauw, have dinners together, dip in the Rhine, we share our experiences, and our worries, we discover new ways of seeing the world around us, train our senses, open our awareness, and try to find a way to set forth in this crazy world. And for the cherry on top: It is possible to earn 3 ECTS for your study programme.
Do you want to reconnect? Sign up for the iWEEK!
iWEEK 2021 ‘A Journey from I to WE’, a summer school on reconnection organised by Lian Kasper, Louise van der Stok and OtherWise.
We will camp and spend most of our time at the ecovillage Ppauw in Wageningen. We will also spend a lot of time in the forest and other natural landscapes in and around Wageningen.
4-10 July 2021
The training is open for anyone who wants to explore their sense of connection and develop an embodied and communal way of knowing, relating and being.
More than ever before we spend most of our days behind the screen or running from one appointment to the next. Most of us only come outside for a walk but we hardly engage with the living world around us in a way that makes us feel part of it. In the meantime, we are confronted with frightening issues such as climate change and biodiversity loss, especially if you are studying in one of these fields. How can you stay connected to others, ourselves and the living world around you in these modern times? Where do we find a sense of belonging? We believe that connection to ourselves, others and the living world is crucial in order to make sustainable choices. But modern life and now the corona pandemic make this more and more challenging
