There are multiple ways in which you can get involved at OtherWise. As a foundation, we have a board (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and general board members), coordinators, interns, and volunteers.

Board

The board is the (legal) foundation and core team of OtherWise. We hold bi-weekly meetings together with coordinators, interns, and volunteers to hang out, organize events, and develop the organization further. If you like to get involved, please stay tuned for Calls for Board members, typically around the time before the new academic year starts!

Volunteer

Do you want to get involved with OtherWise, but don't have the time to fully commit for a board position?
As a volunteer , you would work on project-specific, single events rather than being involved full year-round in the board. Tasks include things like planning meetings for the event, inviting speakers and facilitators or hosting the event yourself, organize the logistics (food, drinks, materials, location, travels), apply for subsidies and do the settlements. In all of the tasks, you will receive guidance from the team. There is less commitment joining our team meetings at the times when you are not organizing an event. This is an exciting opportunity to learn more how OtherWise works, without having to commit to the time and energy involvement for being on the board.
