With the 8 th of March dedicated to International Working Women's Day the third gathering was attributed to the feminist solidarity and struggles across the world. For this session we hosted a collective zine-making workshop.
We decided for this gathering to focus on female rage. Why people can be angry? And why is it that rage expressed by women is unacceptable in our society? In a world where female suffering has long been normalized, we are here to demand our rage is expressed.
Female rage comes in to validate the experience of women's pain and feelings. This session was organized for making space to discuss feminist perspectives, express your female rage, and contemplate the fall of capitalism, patriarchy, and heteronormativity.
We provided the required materials for zine-making to express these thoughts and feelings in a creative way. After introducing ourselves we reflected on the topic of the session and shared our thoughts with the group. Due to the nature of the theme, we had intimate and sensitive discussions that brought up a variety of emotions. We made sure that a safe space was created and maintained for participants to feel comfortable opening-up and share their thoughts and feelings within the group.
